Clock Called as Wong Climbs Higher

Level 19 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Jerry Wong and Nick Pupillo went heads-up to a flop of {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Wong, in the big blind, bet 80,000 and Pupillo called.

Both players checked the {2-Spades} on the turn. The river came the {8-Diamonds} and Wong slid forward a tower of chips, moving all in.

Pupillo, with around 180,000 behind, went into the tank for several minutes before the clock was called. "We can't have every hand take seven minutes if the blinds go up every 20," an irate tablemate said.

Pupillo eventually folded as the clock neared zero. The next hand, the big blind attempted to put in 12,000 before realizing the blinds had gone up.

"That's how long it's been. We're six minutes into the next level," the angry tablemate added.
