Timothy Sullivan opened to 500,000 from the button and was called by short stack Renan Bruschi in the big blind.
It checked down to the river for the board to read . Bruschi bet 1,000,000 which left him with 125,000 behind. Sullivan shoved and Bruschi flicked in the last of his chips.
Bruschi tabled his for a flush while Sullivan had which was no good.
Phil Hellmuth raised to 550,000 from the cutoff and Jeffrey Lo defended the big blind. The flop came and Hellmuth took down the pot with a 600,000 bet.
"Are you from London?" Hellmuth asked Lo after the hand.
"Hong Kong," Lo replied.
"You play good," Hellmuth continued.
Hellmuth won the next pot with a preflop raise of 700,000, showing , before he limped in and went heads up with David Jackson. The flop came and a bet by Hellmuth was enough to get Jackson to fold.
Soon after busting Richard Scardina, Jeffrey Lo was involved in another big pot, this time against David Jackson.
Lo raised to 400,000 from the button and Jackson defended his big blind. Both players checked the flop.
Jackson checked again on the turn as Lo put in 400,000. Jackson called to see the fall on the river.
Jackson this time led into Lo with 1,700,000, sending his opponent into the tank for a few minutes before Lo flicked in a chip to call. Jackson showed for the rivered straight to take the pot.

Richard Scardina opened to 400,000 from the hijack before Jeffrey Lo three-bet to 1,400,000 from the small blind. Scardina paused for a minute before ripping in his 5,000,000 stack. Lo snap-called.
