Smith Tries to Fight Back

Level 49 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Dan Smith raised to 70,000 on the button and Christoph Vogelsang defended from the big blind. The flop came {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Vogelsang check-called a bet of 45,000 from Smith.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Vogelsang checked again. Smith fired out another bet of 210,000 and Vogelsang laid his hand down.

A couple of hands later, Vogelsang opened to 70,000 and Smith countered with a three-bet to 270,000 which got Vogelsang to step aside.
