Vogelsang puts Smith into the Tank on the River, Extends Lead

Level 48 : 10,000/25,000, 0 ante

Christoph Vogelsang opened to 60,000 and Dan Smith elected to fire a three-bet worth 250,000. Vogelsang elected to call and see a flop.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Smith chose to check. After a minute, Vogelsang put 125,000 chips in front of him. Smith called.

An {8-Spades} appeared on the turn and following Smith's initial check, the German tapped the table as well.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board and with 750,000 chips already in the middle, Smith checked once more and Vogelsang decided to bet 475,000 after a roughly 90-second tank.

Smith deliberated for two minutes and, with a grimace on his face, decided to put the cards into the muck.
