On one of the first hands of this three-handed, Lawrence Brandt managed to bet his last 4,550,000 before the flop, and Robert Tanita attempted to eliminate him.

Richard Crooks raised to 900,000 in the cutoff and in the big blind, Robert Tanita called.
The flop came out and Tanita led for 2,000,000 which saw Crooks move all in for 5,600,000 and Tanita called.

The turn and river did not help Crooks as his straight draw missed and Tanita's pocket sixes held for the high hand, while his six-five low scooped the low side and Crooks left in 4th place.

Robert Tanita called in the small blind and in the big blind, Richard Crooks raised to 750,000 which Tanita called.
The flop came out and Tanita bet the pot to put Crooks all in for his remaining 500,000 and both player's hands were turned over.

Jaffee at 5,250,000, decided to put them in the middle of the table for his tournament life.

The dealer fanned out the board and Tanita made a straight. Jaffee was eliminated and will have to wait for another tournament to add a new WSOP Gold bracelet to his collection.
Meanwhile,Tanita has more than half of the remaining chips as headed into four-handed play.

In middle position, Robert Tanita limped and both Richard Crooks and Lawrence Brandt in the blinds came with him to the flop.
On a flop, first to act, Crooks announced "pot", and the bet was one million. Brandt quickly folded but not Tanita who raised to push Crooks all in. But Crooks gave it up and Tanita collected a new pot.
