Big Omaha Hi-Lo Pot Ends in a Split

Level 25 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Dan Cates wrestled back the lead from Yuri Dzivielevski when he made an open pair of tens in Seven Card Stud while most other hands ended at the completion already.

The game variant then switched to Omaha Hi-Lo and Dzivielevski three-bet with the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades} as initial raiser Cates called with {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. On the {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, Dzivielevski bet and Cates called. They headed to the {9-Hearts} turn on which Dzivielevski bet and Cates raised after he had improved to trips nines.

Dzivielevski opted for a three-bet and Cates called. The {2-Spades} river brought a bet by Dzivielevski and a call by Cates as they had to settle for a chop.
