Gonzales Doubles Through Garza

Level 18 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Matthew Gonzales
Matthew Gonzales

Pot-Limit Omaha

Matthew Gonzales limped blind on blind and called a raise to 90,000 from Ap Garza.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Gonzales bet 200,000 leaving himself 135,000 behind. Garza contemplated his decision, with Gonzales even throwing in the rest of his stack as a joke.

He then took the 200,000 and placed it in front of Garza's stack. Garza proceeded to pick the 200,000 chips up and add them to the stack and returned them to the pot along with 200,000 of his own, calling the bet.

The turn was the {q-Spades} and Gonzales put the rest of his 135,000 in. Garza called.

"Straight," said Gonzales showing {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Garza showed {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. The river {j-Spades} bricked and Gonzales doubled up.
