One Pot for Each in Single Draw

Level 26 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Yuri Dzivielevski got a bluff through when he paired a ten as Dan Cates was tempted to call with an ace-ten.

Cates then raised to 400,000 with a made king-jack and Dzivielevski called with a made king-queen.

Dzivielevski discarded two and Cates took one as the ended up with the same {q-}{j-}{10-}{6-}{2-}. Dzivielevski didn't improve either and checked his {a-}{9-}{8-}{3-}{2-} as Cates earned the pot.

Cates Increases Lead Without Showdown; Dzivielevski Wins Some Back

Level 26 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Limit Hold'em

Dan Cates raised with the {9-Spades}{8-Spades} and Yuri Dzivielevski three-bet with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, which was called by Cates. On the {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Dzivielevski bet with his king-high and Cates stuck around with a gutshot and flush draw. Nothing changed on the {4-Clubs} turn except that Dzivielevski now checked and faced a bet.

After mulling it over for a while, Dzivielevski opted to fold and lost further precious chips.

Dzivielevski then raised the {a-Spades}{j-Spades} and Cates three-bet in the big blind with {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for the duo to see the {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop. Another bet by Cates was called and the {j-Hearts} turn improved Dzivielevski, who faced a bet by Cates and made the call.

The {7-Hearts} fell on the river and Cates, still out of his chair and observing the action like a hawk, slowly grabbed chips before checking. Dzivielevski now bet and Cates reluctantly paid it off as the Brazilian pulled some chips back.

Back Comes Cates "All The Way to the Top"

Dan Cates {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} raised and Yuri Dzivielevski called with {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The river was the {a-Hearts} and Dzivielevski bet. Cates called and took down the pot with his pair of sixes.

"All the way to the top," cried Cates as he raked in the chips.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Dan Cates: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Dzivielevski was ahead with a set of tens against the straight and flush draws of Cates.

The turn {4-Clubs} opened up the chance of backdoor quads, but the {3-Spades} river bricked and Dzivielevski doubled up.

Omaha Hi-Lo

The next limped pot produced a flop of {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Dan Cates check-raised with the {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and was called by flop bettor Yuri Dzivielevski with the {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.
