Nothing happened on the {2-Diamonds} turn and the {4-Diamonds} river sent the German mixed game specialist to the rail in 5th place for a payday of $343,531.

2-7 Triple Draw

Benny Glaser picked up {a-}{q-}{j-}{4-}{2-} in the small blind and limped. Johannes Becker {10-}{9-}{9-}{9-}{3-} checked his big blind.

Both players drew three. Glaser bet with {10-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} and Becker called.

Glaser drew one and Becker drew two.

Glaser improved to a number four {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and bet. Becker called with just 75,000 behind.

Glaser stood pat and Becker drew two again.

Glaser bet enough to put Becker all in, but having thrown away a queen and a deuce, the German received them back and was sat contemplating his tournament life with {q-}{9-}{3-}{2-}{2-}.

He eventually folded as the game changed to No-Limit Hold'em.

Level 22 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
wsop.com

For most, the saying, "I could win that poker tournament in my sleep," is laughable at best. But not for Eric Goldstein, who fell asleep Wednesday night, and then woke up to discover he'd won an $80 satellite into the 2022 WSOP Main Event on WSOP.com.

Goldstein told PokerNews he forgot he was registered for the satellite, which only awarded one seat into poker's most prestigious annual tournament, a $10,000 buy-in event.
