"Hometown Hero" Stonoff Doubles

Level 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of {2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}, Brian Stonoff moved all in for 5,200,000 from the big blind and Chip Chinery called from under the gun.

Chinery showed {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for top pair, but Stonoff had out-flopped him with {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for two pair. The rest of the board ran out {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and Stonoff doubled up.

"He's a hometown hero," his supporters said on the rail while the Scottsdale, Arizona native stacked up more than 11,000,000.
