Smith Seeks Value, Runs Into Two Pair

Level 2 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Dan Smith opened to 13,000 in the hijack and David Einhorn flat-called on the button. The two players went heads-up to a flop of {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Smith led out with a bet of 30,000. Einhorn called and the {6-Spades} rolled off on the turn.

Smith sized up to a bet of 100,000 on the turn and Einhorn still called. The {3-Diamonds} completed the board and Smith counted out a bet of 160,000. Einhorn quickly called and Smith turned over {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for top pair. Einhorn, however, turned two pair with {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and raked in the pot.
