Napolitano's Queens Hold

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Action was picked up with a {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} board and around 15,000 in the pot. Mark Napolitano fired for 7,500 from early/middle position. He got a call from late position, before the cutoff moved all in for 4,400 to make the call. After the small blind got out of the way, the early position player made the call as well.

On the {2-Clubs} turn, Napolitano continued for 15,000, getting both the late and early position players to fold, giving a heads-up showdown between him and the cutoff.

Cutoff: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
Mark Napolitano: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Napolitano was ahead, but the cutoff had plenty of outs between his flush draw and over card. Napolitano was able to successfully fade those outs, however, as the {2-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing, and Napolitano scooped the pot while the cutoff headed for the rail.
