Nut Flush Good For Periaux

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ludovic Periaux opened to 8,000 from middle position and was called by Patrick Leonard on the button as well as Maximiliano Gallardo out of the big blind.

Action checked to Leonard on the {9-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop who for a moment looked as if he was going to bet but in the end decided to check back.

Gallardo and Periaux both checked for a second time on the {9-Clubs} turn and at this point Leonard did in fact put out a bet of 14,000. Gallardo folded and Periaux called to send action heads-up to the river.

The {2-Clubs} river double paired the board and Periaux checked for a third time. Leonard thought long and hard before ultimately checking it down and was shown {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} by Periaux for the nut flush, a hand Leonard could not beat.
