Up and Down for Long in Hold'em

Level 27 : 150,000/300,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Andrew Yeh raised it up with the {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts} on the button and Philip Long three-bet in the small blind with the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}. The Brit continued on the {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop and they checked the {q-Diamonds} turn. On the {2-Spades} river, Long bet and Yeh forfeited the chance to attempt a bluff.

Long then raised the button with the {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Yeh three-bet the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} in the big blind for the Brit to make the call. On a flop of {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, Yeh's continuation bet was called and he fired another bet on the {j-Diamonds} turn to take it down uncontested.

What followed was a duel between Long with the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} in the small blind and Craig Chait, who defended the {7-Clubs}{6-Spades} in the big blind. Long bet the {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop and the {9-Diamonds} turn before then betting again the {4-Hearts} river with his top pair. Chait only had the third pair by then and reluctantly paid it off.
