Lodge Stays Alive

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Harry Lodge
Harry Lodge

A player moved all-in from the small blind for 55,500 effective and Harry Lodge called in the big blind to put himself at risk.

Harry Lodge: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The flop of {j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} was a good one for Lodge as it left his opponent drawing to three outs in the form of the three twos left in the deck. The turn and river brought {8-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Lodge doubled fully through his opponent.

Kniep Takes Out Two

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Andreas Kniep raised to 10,000 in early position and a player moved all-in for 20,500 in the hijack. On the cutoff, Amnon Filippi moved all-in for 114,500, folding all action to Kniep who went into the tank. "Tell me what you have and I'll tell you what to do," joked Filippi. After some time, Kniep called covering both players.

Opponent: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Amnon Filippi: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Andreas Kniep: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Kniep's four of a kind was good for the whole pot and two players hit the rail.

Retz Scores a Double Up

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

With a flop of {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and around 15,000 in the pot Mads Retz from Finland shoved all in from small blind position for 28,000. The button went in to the tank for a few minutes before deciding to call.

Mads Retz: {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Button: {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

The turn was a {3-Spades} and a {6-Hearts} on the river didn't help the button's flush draw and Retz's aces and jacks held for a double up and to take down the pot.

Ruane-Gomez Rivers a Set

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Three players generated a pot of about 25,000 with the flop reading {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Michael Nia checked to Dalis Ruane-Gomez who put in a bet of 6,500 and both the button and Nia made the call.

The {k-Hearts} hit the turn and all three players checked to see the {3-Spades} on the river. Nia led for 27,500 and only Ruane-Gomez called.

Nia said, "I only have an eight," showing the {8-Hearts} and Ruane-Gomez took down the pot with the {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, rivering a set of threes.

Engel Cracks Kings to Win Bounty

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ari Engel
Ari Engel

A player in middle position raised to 13,000 and Ari Engel three-bet to 37,000 on the button. The action quickly folded back around to the original raiser as he announced all in for about 91,000. Engel had only a few thousand more chips than him and made the call.

All-In Player: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Ari Engel: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Engel was dominated and the {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop gave him a gutshot straight draw to go along with his pair of nines. The {9-Hearts} hit the turn for Engel to take the lead with a set and the {a-Clubs} river was no help for his opponent as he collected his bounty.

Quadruple Up for Steen

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Daniel Steen was all in for 2,000 from late position and the button shoved over the top for around 60,000. The blinds got out of the way and the cards were on their backs.

Daniel Steen: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The flop came down {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts} giving Steen an open ended straight flush draw. On the turn came a {6-Spades} and with a {k-Hearts} on the river, Steen hit the straight and was saved from an early bust out, getting some chips to stick around for a bit longer.

Joey Weissman
Joey Weissman

Joey Weissman moved all-in for 129,000 effective in the cutoff and the big blind called for his remaining 30,000.

Opponent: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Joey Weissman: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}

The jacks were ahead preflop, but the flop rolled off {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to give Weissman a set. The turn {8-Clubs} brought a flush draw to the pocket jacks, but the river {a-Diamonds} was a brick and the big blind left the table, while Weissman collected a bounty.

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Tuu Ho raised to 6,000 under the gun and the action folded around to the big blind who jammed for about 23,000. Ho instantly called.

Big Blind: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Tuu Ho: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
