"How Did You Know to Check?!"

Level 22

Ziya Rahim: {5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}/{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Daniel Zack: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}/{x-}{x-}{x-}
Eric Kurtzman: {x-}{x-}/{4-Clubs}{4-Spades} - folded fourth street

After Eric Kurtzman brought it in, Ziya Rahim completed and Daniel Zack called. Kurtzman defended his bring-in, and while he made open fours on fourth, he folded to a bet from Zack who made open nines. Rahim stuck around to see fifth street though.

Rahim then called bets from Zack on fifth and sixth streets, then on seventh street, Zack checked.

Rahim now bet and got a call from Zack.

"Straight six," said Rahim as he rolled over his hole cards. Zack took a final look at his cards then tossed them to the muck.

"How did you know to check," asked Kurtzman as he dragged the sizeable pot.

Zack smiled and shrugged as he watched his opponent gather what used to be his chips.
