Plenty more big names remain in the hunt with GG Poker Ambassadors Daniel Negreanu (159,500), and Felipe Ramos (153,500) among the healthy stacks, along with Chad Eveslage (148,500), Brandon Shack-Harris (147,500), Shaun Deeb (136,500), and defending champion Brian Hastings (125,000) among those entering Sunday with healthy stacks.
Another story to watch for is how the champion in this year��s $1,500 edition of this event performs. Ali Eslami captured the bracelet in that Saturday, then hopped right into this one and spun his starting stack up to 116,500 to come back Sunday.
Registration is open until the start of Day 2 at 2 p.m. in the purple section of the Paris Ballroom, with a few more entries expected to pick up their 7.5 big bets before the entry window shuts to boost the entry total from its 127 on Day 1.
Seven 90-minute levels are scheduled for the day with ten-minute breaks after each level and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 14 (approximately 8:30 p.m.)
