Yanovski Leads The Way in the $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed Event
Day 2 of Event #39 $3,000 Pot Limit Omaha 6-Handed at the 2022 World Series of Poker has concluded which saw the field reduce from 156 players down to 16. Israel's Leonid Yanovski is the runaway chip leader with 5,000,000 chips which will be good for 167 big blinds. Yanovski's push for the chip lead started when he eliminated David Litt for a huge pot to keep him on course to win the top prize of $371,358.
The big story of the day however is the two nearly-men who finished second in their previous pot-limit Omaha attempts who will be looking to go one better and get their hands on the most cherished prize in poker, a WSOP Gold Bracelet.
Jamey Hendrickson, who is currently second in chips with 3,660,000, finished second in Event #30: $1,000 Pot Limit Omaha 8-Handed where he claimed the biggest cash of his career, namely $157,819. He will be looking to go one better this time round to cap off an impressive summer for the man from Auburn, Washington. Hungary's Ferenc Deak is also in contention; he joined Hendrickson on the same final table

Fabian Brandes was the runner-up in Event #19 $25,000 High Roller Pot Limit Omaha 8-Handed. He will not be able to better his $907,132 payday from that event, but the Austrian will be eager to secure his first-ever bracelet coming into Day 3 in sixth place with 2,060,000 chips.
There are three former bracelet winners in the hunt for more arm candy. Ukraine's Andriy Lyubovetskiy and Jan-Peter Jachtmann will be looking for their second bracelet and Jason DeWitt will be seeking a third.
The sixteen players left in the tournament will return to Bally's Event Center at 2:00 p.m. local time on June 20, where they will play down to five players. Blinds will begin at 10,000/25,000 with a 25,000 big blind ante.
