The Winter Train Keeps Rolling

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Leonid Yanovski bet 400,000 from the button with {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and was called by Fabian Brandes in the small blind with {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Sean Winter in the big blind holding {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

The {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} flop was checked by all three players. The {3-Hearts} turn gave Winter a flush draw along with his sevens and fives and bet 450,000. Yanovski and Brandes called.

The {2-Hearts} on the river gave Winter a flush but slowed down and checked, as do the other players and Winter grabs another pot.

Thomas Morrison
Thomas Morrison

Fabian Brandes opened to 450,000 with {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} under the gun and Leonid Yanovski made the call from the small blind with {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}.

Thomas Morrison announced all-in from the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} but was only able to bet 1,800,000 leaving him with 500,000 behind. Brandes tanked for awhile but decided to fold and Yanovski put the rest in and Morrison called.

The board ran out clean for the aces on {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Thomas Morrison was eliminated in fourth for $108,604.

Winter Scores Huge Pot

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Sean Winter called 200,000 from under the gun with {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and both Thomas Morrison with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Fabian Brandes with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} came along in the blinds.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and both Morrison and Brandes checked to Winter who bet 275,000. Morrison got out of the way and Brandes called.

On the {4-Clubs} turn both players checked. The {4-Diamonds} river completed the board and Brandes checked for a third time. Winter assembled a bet of 1,100,000 and after little thought Brandes flicked in a call. Winter's queens-full scooped the massive pot and put him back in contention.

Winter Doubles Again

Level 29 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

Sean Winter bet 700,000 from the button and Thomas Morrison on the button bet pot and was called by Winter which made him all-in

Sean Winter: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Thomas Morrison: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop was not much help to Morrison, but the {k-Hearts} turn gave him a set of kings. Winter grabbed his bag but slammed it down on to the deck when the {a-Spades} landed on the river.

This was the seventh time Winter has been at risk on the final table and survived.

Winter Has a Big Heart

Level 29 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Sean Winter opened for 300,000 with {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} on the button leaving himself with 150,000 behind. Leonid Yanovski called from the small blind with {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Thomas Morrison completed from the big blind with {7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Yanovski led out for 150,000. Morrison mistakenly raised to 300,000 and Winter put in his last 150,000 in. Yanovski also came along.

The {6-Hearts} turn gave Winter a straight but it was Yanovski's bigger straight in the lead. The Israeli bet full pot of 1,800,000 and Morrison folded his set of threes.

Winter was in need of heart to stay alive and when the {j-Hearts} hit the river it was the flush that turned the tables giving Winter a triple up.

Level 29 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

Sean Winter limped from the cutoff, as did Thomas Morrison in the small blind. Fabian Brandes checked from the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Winter bet 150,000 which got Morrison to fold but Brandes called. The {8-Spades} turn saw Brandes bet 150,000 and Winter snap-called to go all in.

Sean Winter: {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Fabian Brandes: {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Winter flopped a set of sixes and only needed to dodge a five on the river. The {3-Hearts} came on the river and Winter has moved from less than two big blinds to 1,200,000 in short order.

Winter Triples Up

Level 29 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Fabian Brandes called 150,000 from the button with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Sean Winter was all in for his last 100,000 in the small blind with {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Leonid Yanovski checked his option in the big blind with {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Both players checked it down on the board of {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} . Winter found the triple up with his full-house.
