James Morgan
James Morgan

Limit Hold'em

James Morgan raised on the button and Steven Albini called in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Morgan continued with a bet. Albini called, then check-called another bet on the {q-Diamonds} turn.

The river was the {10-Hearts} and Morgan bet again. Albini called and showed {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a straight, but Morgan had a higher straight with {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} to take the pot and the chip lead.

A few hands later, Kyle Loman raised and called a three-bet from Albini. Loman checked when the flop came {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and called a bet.

The turn came the {9-Spades} and Loman again check-called. Both players checked down the {4-Clubs} turn.

Albini flashed {a-}{k-}, but Loman showed {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for a flopped pair of jacks that turned into two pair to take another pot off Albini.
