Edgar Left Short

Level 17

Matt Edgar raised under the gun and was three-bet by Brian Hastings in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Edgar, who made the call.

On the first draw, Edgar took two cards while Hastings drew one. Edgar then check-called the continuation from Hastings.

The second draw saw both players take one card and again Edgar checked to Hastings, who fired off another bet. Edgar was not prepared to let go of his hand just yet, however, and flatted.

Edgar took one more card on the last draw before checking to Hastings who had stood pat. Hastings put out a third barrel and Edgar quickly called. Hastings turned over {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Edgar mucked to leave himself short stacked.
