Schwartz Raking in Pots

Level 3 : 200/300, 500 ante

Jake Schwartz had his run toward a bracelet come up short after finishing runner-up to Phil Hellmuth in this event last year, and he's already off to a fast start this year.

In his last hand, Victor Ramdin raised to 1,200 from under the gun and received calls from the button and Schwartz in the big blind. Schwartz and Ramdin both took one, while the button drew two.

Schwartz led out for 3,000 after the draw and Ramdin quickly folded. The button, though, gave the decision some thought before calling.

"Ten-eight," Schwartz said, turning over 10-8-6-4-3 that was enough to win the pot.
