Cowen Wins Some; Loses Some to Katz

Level 24 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Aaron Katz limped in the hijack and Jason Mercier did so in the small blind, Robert Cowen checked in the big blind. On a flop of {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades} they checked it through and Mercier also checked the {a-Hearts} turn. Cowen now bet 285,000 and collected the pot uncontested.

Cowen then opened to 200,000 and Katz defended the big blind. The {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} was checked by Katz, who faced a continuation bet worth 250,000 by Cowen. Following a check-raise for the size of the pot by Katz, Cowen instantly folded.
