Small Pots After the Restart

Level 18 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Chance Kornuth and Ap Garza, the board showed {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Kornuth bet small and Garza called to get shown the {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} by Kornuth, which he had beat with the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Two tables over, Jared Bleznick raised to 60,000 and Aaron Katz called on the button, Duarte Baptista defended the big blind. The {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop was checked to Bleznick and he continued for 135,000. Katz got out of the way but Baptista had other plans. He used a time bank extension and then check-raised to 450,000 in order to force a fold from Bleznick.
