Do Breaks Two Million Flopping Trip Eights

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Joao Simao opened from under the gun and was called by Vuong Do in the cutoff and Vincent Phan in the big blind.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Simao continued for 75,000. Do called and Phan, a short stack, folded.

The {a-Spades} arrived on the turn and Simao made another bet, this time for 125,000. Do called once again.

On the {q-Hearts} river, Simao slowed down and checked. Do put out a bet of 190,000, which sent Simao into the tank for over three minutes.

Simao eventually called and Do flipped over {j-Spades}{8-Spades} for trip eights and the win.
