Moolhuizen Continues Momentum, Wins Pot vs. Jukich Before Dinner Break

Level 39 : 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Mateusz Moolhuizen opened to 3,000,000 from the button with {j-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Mike Jukich flatted from the big blind with {6-Spades}{2-Spades}.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and both players checked, despite Moolhuizen flopping an open-ended straight draw.

The {4-Diamonds} gave Jukich a straight draw as well and he bet 2,500,000 with it. Moolhuizen called.

The {a-Diamonds} on the river put backdoor diamonds on the board and Jukich opted to give up and tap the table. Moolhuizen fired for 6,500,000 and Jukich threw his cards into the muck.

Jukich Table Talks His Way to the Pot

Level 39 : 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Mike Jukich, by far the most active at this point in the final table, opened to 3,000,000 with {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Joao Simao called with {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} from the big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Jukich continued for just 1,500,000 into a 8,500,000 pot. Simao called.

The turn brought the {q-Hearts} and both players tapped the table.

The river was the {5-Clubs} and after Simao checked, Jukich bet 3,000,000 after admitting he had a bad hand.

However, the table talk was enough to see Simao fold the winning hand and Jukich proudly turned his hand face up.

Spinella Calls Off Moolhuizen's River Bluff

Level 39 : 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Mateusz Moolhuizen called the extra 500,000 with {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} from the small blind and Anthony Spinella checked his {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Moolhuizen continued for 1,500,000. Spinella called.

The turn came the {8-Diamonds}, putting a third diamond on the board, though neither player had a diamond in their hand. Moolhuizen slowed down and checked. Spinella tapped the table back.

The river brought the {a-Diamonds} and Moolhuizen took a stab at the pot for 3,500,000. Spinella called and took the 14,500,000 chip pot down with a pair of aces.

Joao Simao Doubles Up Through Jukich

Level 39 : 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante
Joao Simao
Joao Simao

Mike Jukich opened from the cutoff for 3,000,000 and Joao Simao shoved from the small blind for 14,700,000 which Jukich called.

Joao Simao: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Mike Jukich: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The flop came {9-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} to give Simao an open-ended straight draw and a slight statistical edge with his two overs.

He didn't have to wait long as the {k-Diamonds} gave the Brazilian the nuts and had Jukich drawing dead.

Simao is now back to over 32 million with his latest double up.
