Shorr Cracks Kings to Stay Alive

Level 19 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

The action folded around to Shannon Shorr in the small blind who moved all in for 1,375,000. Andrew Lichtenberger looked down at his cards in the big blind and instantly called with a laugh.

Shannon Shorr: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Andrew Lichtenberger: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades} to give Shorr a straight draw but Lichtenberger held a couple of his outs. That didn't matter as the {8-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn which left Lichtenberger drawing dead to the {5-Hearts} on the river.
