Popular PokerGo commentator Jeff "mavsusc" Platt, who cashed in both WSOP bracelet events on Sunday, made another deep run and hoped to capture his first ever bracelet but was sent to the rail in fourth when he got pocket tens in against the ace-ten of Hoop and was outdrawn to become the short stack and would soon after bust with two-pair against a set. When heads-up play started Faro had a 4-1 chip lead and the battle lasted a while with Hoop doubling up a few times before Faro would finally close it out and capture WSOP gold, sending Hoop out in runner-up position.
