Cabrera Doesn't Call With the Worse Hand

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

While all other tables had already finished the action, a bigger pot emerged over on table 456.

In a battle of the blinds, David Cabrera raised out of the small blind and Zachary Mcdiarmid three-bet to 1 million for Cabrera to call. The Spaniard check-called bets worth 700,000 on the {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop and 1,400,000 on the {10-Clubs} turn. They headed to the {7-Hearts} river on which Cabrera checked once more.

Mcdiarmid now bet 1,900,000 and that sent Cabrera into the tank. The clock was called on him and Cabrera was given another one minute before the 30-second timer started. Cabrera folded and was shown the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} by Mcdiarmid.

"Was that a value bet? I almost called with worse, I had queen-jack," Cabrera said before heading into the break, which was already underway for more than seven minutes.
