Maxime Canevet started the day with the 9th biggest stack in the room, but shortly after the first break of the day, he'd been eliminated.

On a flop of {9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, Canevet check-raised a 2,100 chip bet from Chris Wallace to 5,200. Wallace made the call.

The turn {10-Spades} was checked through, then on the river {7-Diamonds}, Canevet moved all-in for his last 15,000.

Wallace called and showed {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a straight, while Canevet could only show{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a defeated two pair, ending his day surprisingly early.
