Here comes the Final Day of Event #79: $1,979 Hall of Fame Bounty No-limit Hold'em.

This new to 2021 WSOP event attracted 469 total entries. After two days of high-flying poker action, the final six have been set in stone and will be chiseled down to one winner who will take home the coveted WSOP gold bracelet along with $172,499 in first-place cash.

Leading the way into this final day is Ole Schemion (6,905,000 chips) who bagged nearly half of the chips in play after a late Day 2 surge that included a double-elimination hand at the unofficial final table of ten.

The next closest competitor is Portuguese Pro Giovani Torre (2,720,000 chips) who will look to improve on his multiple cashes this series with a shot at gold at his first live WSOP final table.

The middle of the returning six-pack of players consists of James Alexander (1,530,000) and Jerry Wong (1,200,000). Each will hope to use their previous WSOP final table experience and success to navigate their way to their first WSOP gold bracelet.

Rounding out the star-laced six is Benjamin Underwood (975,000 chips) and Marc Rivera (755,000). Underwood will be looking to move even closer to one million dollars in live tournament cashes today, while Rivera will hope to capitalize on this premier WSOP final table appearance to extend his all-time money-lead in the Philippines.

The Final Day will resume with 1:51 left on the clock in Level 26 with blinds of 30,000 and 60,000, and a 60,000 big blind ante. Levels will be 40 minutes long with a break every three levels and will play down to a winner.

Please stay tuned to PokerNews for all of the latest updates of this event, or live here at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino where the cards will be back in the air at 4:00 p.m. local time (PST). The PokerGo main feature table live stream will begin at 5:00 p.m. local time.
