De Souza Doubles Through Liu for a Second Time

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Kaue De Souza open-shoved a stack of 1,700,000 from the small blind and Renmei Liu called in the big blind.

Kaue De Souza: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Renmei Liu: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The flop of {4-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} gave both players pairs but De Souza needed help to stay alive. The rest of the board ran out {3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and the king on the river gave De Souza the best hand.

"Yes! Yes!" De Souza screamed before apologizing to his opponent for the strong reaction.

After the hand, Liu questioned whether he made the right call and then received a short-stacked poker lesson from Ori Hasson.

"It's a snap-call," Hasson told him. "I'm calling with almost any ace there."
