Dan Cates

Limit Hold'em

A pair of Limit Hold'em pots to start the final table have taken a chunk out of Dan Cates' stack.

With several bets in the middle already, Eli Elezra bet a river board of {4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}.

Cates called and saw Elezra turn over {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for two pair.

Shortly after, Cates lost another small Limit Hold'em pot to Ryan Leng, which took another couple hundred thousand off his stack, dropping him below 2.5 million.
