Laplante Drops His First Hand

Level 1 : 200/300, 300 ante

Ryan Laplante just took his seat on Table 430 and raised it up to 1,100 in early position. Tommy Le called on the button as did Noah Schwartz in the big blind. The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and the action checked to Le who threw in a pot-sized bet of 3,800. Schwartz folded but Laplante called.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and both players checked to the {q-Spades} on the river. Laplante checked again and Le made a bet of 5,000. Laplante thought for a brief moment but decided to lay his hand down.
