No Shame in Folding

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

John Hoang raised on the button and Kevin Erickson three-bet in the small blind. Nathan Baum four-bet from the big blind and Hoang got out of the way. Erickson called and the dealer spread the flop of {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Erickson checked and Baum slid out a bet of 20,000, leaving himself with 11,000 chips behind. Erickson thought about calling before Baum said, "No shame in folding." Erickson put his chips back on his stack and then folded.

"You should be ashamed of yourself," Ryan Hansen shouted from across the table.
