Kornuth Takes It on the Turn

Level 10
: 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Just a short time after receiving his third WSOP gold bracelet at a ceremony in the Brasilia Room, Chance Kornuth was back to building his stack in Event #37.
Kornuth bet the flop, and his opponent called to see a
turn. Kornuth checked and watched his opponent bet 5,000, which Kornuth then raised to 16,500. The opponent said "this feels like the nuts" as he mucked his cards, and Kornuth chipped up over 70,000.
At a nearby table, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier had joined the field.
