Vieira Gets Caught Bluffing

Level 23 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Aleksandr Shevlyakov limped in on the button and Joao Vieira checked his option. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Vieira checked to Shevlyakov who bet 12,000. Vieira check-raised to 42,000 and Shevlyakov called.

The turn brought the {a-Clubs} and Vieira led out for 55,000. Shevlyakov still called and the {6-Diamonds} completed the board. Vieira thought for nearly three minutes before announcing a bet of 94,000. Shevlyakov quickly flicked in a chip to call.

Vieira showed {j-Spades}{4-Diamonds} as a bluff and Shevlyakov rolled over {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for two pair.
