Persson Gets Hall'd Out

Level 17 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

The board read {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} with around 70,000 chips already in the middle. Eric Persson was down to his last 130,000 chips and Galen Hall had no problem putting them at risk.

Hall flipped over {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a turned flush and Persson held {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for two pair and a better flush draw. The river was the {7-Hearts} and Persson was unable to come from behind as he was eliminated in the second round.
