Stone's Queens Hold On

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

A player in late position jammed for 5,200 with {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} but was in a world of hurt when Brad Stone called on the button with {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}. All others folded.

The flop brought in the {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}, and the short stack picked up additional outs with an open-ended straight draw. But the turn and river offered no help as the board ran out with the {7-Diamonds} and the {2-Diamonds} causing Stone to scoop the bounty and the pot.

Lodge Doubles Through Reichenstein With a Set

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a flop of {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Onur Unsal bet 2,700 from the big blind and Uri Reichenstein made the call from early position.

Harry Lodge, in the small blind, then shoved all in. Unsal quickly got out of the way, but Reichenstein stuck in the chips for a call.

Harry Lodge: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Uri Reichenstein: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Reichenstein had an over-pair, but Lodge had flopped a set to take the lead. The board ran out {2-Spades}{a-Spades} and Lodge secured the double-up to take his chip stack to around 48,000.

Chop it Up

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Action picked up as the dealer was running out the board with two players — Sean Shah and Scott Levitt — both all-in with {a-}{k-} and the board came out {j-}{4-}{8-}{9-}{q-}.

Jason jang, who was also at the table, was frustrated following the hand because he folded {a-}{q-} and nearly made the call. He would have won the pot with top pair on the river and busted Levitt to earn a bounty.

Kalisek Knocks One Out Amid Controversy

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Joseph Kalisek jammed on the river with the board showing {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Hearts}.

His opponent in the seat to his direct right tanked for several minutes before making the call with a shorter stack. Kalisek turned over {j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a full house and his opponent went to muck.

The rest of the table was adamant that the all-in player needed to show his cards, but he refused. The floor had to be called over, and eventually his hand of {8-Spades}{3-Clubs} was shown.
