Dais Eliminates Fellow Bracelet Winner
A couple weeks ago, Donnell "Spreezy52" Dais topped a 950-entry field to win Event #3: $500 NLH Turbo Deepstack for $90,801 and his first gold bracelet.
Originally from Atlanta, Dais has been grinding in Las Vegas, so when WSOP officials reached out about getting him his bracelet, he told them he was actually staying at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. As such, they met him at the sportsbook where they presented him with the actual bracelet, making him the first to actually receive his hardware.
According to The Hendon Mob, Dais has $58,230 in documented live tournament earnings including a career-best $19,477 for finishing ninth in the 2019 WSOP Circuit Harrah's New Orleans. However, Dais grinded a lot of the local Atlanta games where he established himself as one of the best, meaning he has lots of other undocumented tournament winnings to his credit.
Dais, who first learned to play poker during his two tours in Iraq back in the mid-to-late 2000s, was recently involved in a big hand against two-time bracelet winner Eric "Circleball" Baldwin.
A preflop raising war saw Baldwin get his stack of 19,794 all in against Dais.

It was a cooler hand but would end in a bad beat as the board ran out to give Dais a flush. Baldwin was felted after his aces were cracked, but he opted to re-enter the tournament.
