He’s been a professional poker player for the past 14 years, and according to HendonMob, he has $980,026 in live tournament earnings including a career-best $164,086 for finishing 41st in the 2015 WSOP Main Event.
In regards to the online bracelet events, Parmann has been playing since the start and early on finished 88th in Event #2: $1,000 NLH 8-Handed Deepstack for $1,833. Nine days later, he took 18th in Event #11: $500 NLH Turbo Deepstack 6-Handed for $4,794, and the very next day placed 234th in Event #12: $500 BIG 500 for $983.
Parmann was grinding on the fringe and then hit his stride over a three-day period last week. It started when he finished second in Event #16: $500 NLH Turbo (1,528 entries) for $71,648, ultimately finishing runner-up to Terrell “Heezahustla” Cheatham for $116,204.
In that tournament, Parmann got his last 10 big blinds in holding ace-three suited and was ahead of Cheatham’s ace-deuce. Parmann was primed to either double or chop, but in this particular hand he would actually lose as a deuce appeared on the flop.
The following day, he was back at the final table in Event #17: $777 NLH after navigating a 1,382-entry field to finish in eighth place for $16,833. Amazingly, on Saturday he nearly made three final tables in a row, though he fell a bit short finishing 15th out of 987 entries in Event #18: $1,000 NLH 8-Handed Turbo DeepStack for $7,876.
