On Monday night, the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Event #20: $500 PLO 6-Handed attracted 627 players who rebought 510 times. The 1,137-entry field generated a $511,650 prize pool and after 13 hours of play, Ohio native Kevin "therealkg" Gerhart, who now resides in Las Vegas, captured the $97,571.65 top prize and his second gold bracelet.

Gerhart’s first piece of WSOP hardware came last year when he took down the 2019 WSOP Event #54: $1,500 Razz for $119,054. It was a career-high live score for Gerhart, who according to HendonMob has just over $600K in live tournament earnings.

That includes $10,493 and a ring for winning the 2018 WSOP Circuit Planet Hollywood Event #6: $400 PLO, as well as $69,561 for winning the Wynn Winter Classic $600 NLH Event back in December.

5Adam “AdamJ080584” Jones$20,210
6Shanmukha “Shanmukha” Meruga$14,480

After Kenneth “KBconcepts” Phillips bubbled in 151st place, the in-the-money finishers included Jamie “DanBilzerian” Kerstetter (111th - $920.97), Phil “Lumestackin” Hellmuth (95th - $920.97), Ryan “bitc0in” Riess (55th - $1,227.96), Event #12 champ Ryan “joeyisamush” Depaulo (51st - $1,381.45), Shaun “ddtgg” Deeb (36th - $2,30242), Tom “looter” Marchese (12th - $5,935.14), Connor “666666” Drinan (11th - $5,935.14), and Tammy “rynom” Brindise (8th - $10,591.15).

Gerhart began the final table as the chip leader while Shanmukha “Shanmukha” Meruga was the short stack and first to fall. Meruga got it in good calling off on the flop with nines against Gerhart’s threes, but the latter turned two pair for the win.

Cody “Duckmoney420” Brinn then dispatched Adam “AdamJ080584” Jones in fifth place after making trip queens to overcome tens, and then Chris “Robotbob47” Moorman let it ride on a flopped gutshot straight draw against Gerhart’s two pair, which held to eliminate the online legend in fourth place.

New Jersey’s Jenny “Mobey” Svancara, the first woman to make a final table in the 2020 WSOP, bowed out in third place after getting it in with a flopped two pair only to have Gerhart turn a bigger two pair. The $41,290 she received for her deep run marked her sixth cash of the series.

Gerhart began heads-up play holding a slight chip lead over Brinn, but an early double saw the latter pull out to a 7:1 lead of their own. The two would jostle back and forth until Gerhart double back into the lead before closing it out by completing a wrap draw on the turn against Brinn's overpair.

The next tournament on the schedule – Event #21: $777 NLH 6-Handed – will take place at 3 p.m. PDT on Tuesday. The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will once again be reporting all the action, so be sure to tune in then to see who captures the next 2020 WSOP bracelet!

Cody "Duckmoney420" Brinn Eliminated in 2nd Place ($60,323.53)

Level 36 : 150,000/300,000, 0 ante
Cody Brinn
Cody Brinn

Kevin "therealkg" Gerhart opened for 1,800,000 on the button and Cody "Duckmoney420" Brinn defended to see a {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop.

Brinn jammed for 2,555,954 and Gerhart quickly called.

Cody "Duckmoney420" Brinn: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Kevin "therealkg" Gerhart: {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Brinn was ahead with their ladies and the {7-Spades} appeared on the turn giving them a flush draw but it also completed Gerhart's straight.

Brinn's only hope was to catch a spade or a jack on the river but it came the {2-Clubs} eliminating them in second place.

Gerhart Fades Diamonds to Double Into the Lead

Level 36 : 150,000/300,000, 0 ante

Kevin "therealkg" Gerhart raised the button to 600,000 and "Duckmoney420" called to see the {6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. "Duckmoney420" checked, Gerhart bet 666,666, and "Duckmoney420" check-raised to 3,199,998. Gerhart jammed for 5,299,523 and "Duckmoney420" called.

Kevin "therealkg" Gerhart: {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
"Duckmoney420": {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Gerhart flopped the straight but "Duckmoney420" had the better flush draw. Fortunately for Gerhart, neither the {j-Spades} turn nor {4-Hearts} river was a diamond and he doubled into the chip lead.

Jenny "Mobey" Svancara Eliminated in 3rd Place ($41,290.15)

Level 35 : 125,000/250,000, 0 ante

Kevin "therealkg" Gerhart raised to 600,000 from the small blind and Jenny "Mobey" Svancara called from the big to see a {4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. Gerhart bet 1,200,000 and then called when Svancara moved all in for 2,665,016.

Jenny "Mobey" Svancara: {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Kevin "therealkg" Gerhart: {5-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Svancara was ahead with kings and fours, but disaster struck when the {j-Hearts} turn gave Gerhart a bigger two pair. The {5-Hearts} river was no help to Svancara and Gerhart scored the knockout.

It marked Svancara's sixth cash of the online series, and she becomes the first, and thus far only, woman to make a 2020 WSOP online final table.

Chris Moorman

Chris "Robotbob47" Moorman raised the button to 600,000 and Kevin "therealkg" Gerhart called from the big blind. When the flop came down {7-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}, Moorman moved in for 933,119 and Gerhart called.

Chris "Robotbob47" Moorman: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Kevin "therealkg" Gerhart: {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Gerhart was ahead with tens and sevens while Moorman was on a gutshot straight draw. The {4-Diamonds} turn paired Moorman but the {6-Diamonds} river was no help to him to give Gerhart the pot.
