The only unknown player to date was "NeatDad1971" which happens to be the alias of Patrick Serda, and the Canadian is the chip leader heading into the final eight. As of now, each level will feature 30 hands on each level.
As the short stacks on both tables used their time banks to gain a pay jump, it was Simon "FiestaPagana" Mattsson that raised the pot with very few chips behind and "NeatDad1971" three-bet to 600,000. The Canadian had previously doubled table neighbor Blaaz "Sc4rm4k3r" Azerjav but remained at the top of the leaderboard.
Mattsson eventually called all-in to set up the following showdown.
Simon "FiestaPagana" Mattsson:
"NeatDad1971":
On a board of , Mattsson failed to catch two pair or a flush and was certain to exit in 10th place.
Over on the other table, Adam "MikePrice82" Hendrix then also ended up all-in shortly after as the hand had to be completed bfore setting up the final table.
Adam "MikePrice82" Hendrix:
Dorel "DorelEl" Eldabach:
Hendrix flopped top set on and the turn took away an out of Eldabach, who got there anyways on the river.
Simon "FiestaPagana" Mattsson raised the button to 250,000 and was called by "NeatDad1971" in the big blind. On the flop, "NeatDad1971" check-called a bet of 241,500 and did so again for 340,890 on the turn. "NeatDad1971" checked the river as well and Mattsson emptied the clip with a bet of 1,303,233, the snap-call followed.
Mattsson tabled and "NeatDad1971" had that beat with the for queens full of eights.
Daniel "RussianBot1" Hindin raised the pot first to act and was called by Dorel "DorelEl" Eldabach on the button. Fewer than one blind remained for Hindin who then jammed the flop and received an instant call.
Daniel "RussianBot1" Hindin:
Dorel "DorelEl" Eldabach:
Hindin used the "running hot" emoji but it was Eldabach who nailed the turn, which made the river a formality.
Bradley "DrStrange7" Ruben raised the button and called a three-bet to 584,000 by Tal "bonboni555" Peretz in the small blind. On the flop, Peretz instantly jammed and Ruben folded as quickly.
Ruben was left with just over 600k and those went in shortly after versus Dorel "DorelEl" Eldabach.
Blaaz "Sc4rm4k3r" Azerjav raised and then folded when Naman "pokermafiaa" Madan reraised the pot. Madan used a "so confused" emoji as he dragged in the pot. The hands on that table barely went past the flop as the middle stacks are not far away from each other in the overall counts.
Daniel "RussianBot1" Hindin returned as the shortest stack after the break and quickly got thise chips in from the small blind as Dorel "DorelEl" Eldabach had raised first to act and called.
Daniel "RussianBot1" Hindin:
Dorel "DorelEl" Eldabach:
On a board of , Hindin scored a very fortunate river double.
