Arethans Survives With Rivered Boat

Level 7 : 300/600, 0 ante

Peter Arethas opened from the cutoff for 1,800 and Sean Remz called from the small blind. Action was on Andrew Donabedian who three-bet to 10,000 and Arethans jammed for 13,200 getting a call from both Remz and Donabedian.

Remz check-called Donabedian's bet of 17,000 after a flop of {6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}.

The turn came the {j-Clubs} and Remz checked his option to Donabedian once more and folded after Donabedian fired out 35,000.

Peter Arethas: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Andrew Donabedian: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

Arethas said he needed the board to pair before he tabled his hand and got his wish as the river fell the {j-Diamonds} and Arethas got a much needed double up.
