Hands #81-85: Cada in the Lead

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Hand #81: Joao Vieira raised to 675,000 from the small blind and big blind Joe Cada called. The flop was dealt {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Vieira continued with a bet of 550,000. Cada raised to 1,500,000 and Vieira called.

The turn was the {a-Clubs} and Vieira check-folded to a bet of 1,600,000 from Cada.

Hand #82: Vieira raised to 450,000 from the button and he was called by Cada in the small blind. Jamie O'Connor folded his big blind.

The flop fell {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and both players checked. They did as well on the {5-Spades} turn card. The {2-Spades} was dealt on the river and Cada check-called a bet of 650,000 from Vieira.

Vieira showed {k-Spades}{4-Spades} but that wasn't enough when Cada showed {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Hand #83: O'Connor moved all in from the small blind and Vieira folded his big blind.

Hand #84: Cada received a walk in the big blind.

Board: {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Calamusa had run into ace-king and needed a lot of help from the board to survive, but the Frenchman got exactly what he was looking for on the flop when the seven of diamonds fell. The turn card kept his lead, but when the king of hearts hit the river, Vieira regained his lead and Calamusa was eliminated in 4th place for $219,468.

Hand #79: Vieira raised to 450,000 from the cutoff, and Pierre Calamusa called in the big blind. The flop fell {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}, and Calamusa checked before Vieira checked to behind to see the {4-Clubs} turn. Calamusa bet 250,000 and Vieira called. The {5-Hearts} hit the river, and Calamusa checked. Vieira paused for a minute before he fired 850,000 and Calamusa folded.

Hand #73: Pierre Calamusa pushed his last 2,900,000 to the middle from the button but he wasn't called.

Hand #74: Joao Vieira raised to 450,000 from the button and small blind Joe Cada three-bet to 1,900,000. Jamie O'Connor folded his big blind and Vieira folded when the action was back on him.

Hand #75: Vieira raised to 450,000 from the cutoff and everyone folded.

Hand #76: Calamusa pushed his last 3,000,000 to the middle and he didn't get a call.

Hand #77: O'Connor limped from the cutoff. Vieira called from the small blind and Cada checked his option in the big blind. The {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop was dealt and it checked to O'Connor who bet 200,000. Vieira and Cada folded and he picked up the pot.

Calamusa bet 600,000 on the unknown river card and Vieira tanked for multiple minutes. He asked Calamusa how much he had behind and it was about 900,000. Vieira called and won the pot with {q-Spades}{4-Spades}. Calamusa had the {9-Diamonds} open and the other card was hidden.
