Day 3 Begins at 2 p.m. as 38 Players Return to Battle
At 2 p.m. local time today, 38 players will return to the tables at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino for Day 3 of Event #63: $1,500 Omaha Mix, all looking secure their place at the final table.
Blake Schwartzbach bagged the overnight chip lead with 475,000 and is followed closely in the counts by Joe Tehan (458,000), Sean Yu (445,000), John Evans (440,000).
2013 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Ryan Riess (222,000) is also in contention among fellow bracelet winners James Van Alstyne (364,000), Ivo Donev (343,000), Luis Velador (257,000), Phil Laak (243,000), defending champion Yueqi Zhu (218,000), Andreas Klatt (102,000), and the short-stacked Barry Greenstein (37,000).
A British trio of online legend Patrick Leonard (220,000), Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. chairman Tony Bloom (178,000), and Stuart Rutter (104,000) will also return.
Each player is currently guaranteed a minimum payout worth $4,131, but everyone will have their eyes set on the $199,838 first-place prize.
The action will begin in level 21 with limit blinds set at 6,000-12,000 and pot limit blinds at 3,000-6,000. Each level will be 60-minutes with a 15-minute break every two levels, and a 60-minute dinner break at the end of level 26, with the Day 3 proceedings scheduled to play down the final six.
