Jennifer Tilly Looking to Win Second Bracelet
Two days of spectacular razz action are behind us in Event #54: $1,500 Razz at the 2019 World Series of Poker and only 15 players remain. They started two days ago with 363 players and Andres Korn leads the final 15 when he bagged a stack of 546,000 at the end of last night. Korn is trying to win his first piece of WSOP Gold but Jennifer Tilly is looking to add a second bracelet to her collection. Tilly bagged 332,000 and she starts in fifth today when limits continue at 12,000/24,000.
Others that bagged a stack for Day 3 include bracelet winners Scott Clements (330,000), Robert Campbell (200,000), and Gary Benson (11,000). Benson has by far the shortest stack at the start of the day as he has less than half a big bet. Mike Ross (307,000) and Kevin Gerhart (223,000) are looking to win their first WSOP bracelet in today's event.
The tournament was scheduled to run for four days but with only 15 players remaining on Day 3, the tournament direction will give a final decision before the start of play if they will play down to the final six players or if they will crown a winner in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino today. Each of the returning players are guaranteed to collect at least $3,919 and a spot at the official eight-handed final table will earn them $9,663. The winner will walk away with nothing less than $119,054 and a place in the WSOP history books.
