Csik Eliminates Ivey in Coin Flip

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Chris Csik raised from the hijack to 125,000 and Phil Ivey piled all in for his remaining 1,205,000 from the cutoff. It folded back around the Csik who thought long and hard over the decision.

A sizable rail formed in the corner of the Pavilion to watch Csik stew over the decision, getting their chance to possibly witness the fate of Ivey.

After a couple of minutes, Csik told the table that they better call the clock on him, one player at the table obliged his request and called clock. The floor came over and announced thirty seconds, but before reaching the countdown Csik tossed in a stack to make the call.

It was a classic race for the 10-time bracelet winner's tournament life:

Ivey {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Csik {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop immediately hit Csik when it came the {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} much to the disappointment of the rail that had formed. The turn was the {3-Clubs} and the river was the {6-Clubs} to seal Ivey's elimination after a deep run.
