Fun Flop for Ivers and Tan

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

David Ivers opened to 200,000 in early position and Justinian Tan started to tank in the big blind. After a couple of minutes, the clock was called and Tan finally pushed his stack of 850,000 into the middle. Ivers flicked in a chip to call and the cards were face up.

David Ivers: {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Justinian Tan: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Tan let out a scream on the flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} after he flopped a set, not realizing that Ivers flopped a straight. The {4-Spades} on the turn changed nothing and Tan screamed for the board to pair. Unfortunately for him, the {j-Clubs} on the river did not and he exited the tournament area quietly.
