Alaei Left Short

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Daniel Alaei defended his big blind against a button raise by Tim Marsters and check-called two streets on the {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board. On the river, Alaei check-folded to a third barrel.

Razz

Tim Marsters: {x-}{x-} / {2-}{6-}{3-}{10-} / {x-}
Nick Guagenti: {x-}{x-} / {4-}{2-}{8-}{3-} / {x-}
Daniel Alaei: {x-}{x-} / {k-}{2-}{6-}{8-} / {x-}

The game type switched and Marsters bet sixth, Nick Guagenti called and Alaei also called. Guagenti then took the lead on sixth and bet, both his opponents called. Guagenti also bet seventh and Alaei reluctantly folded with just over one big bet behind. Marsters reluctantly called and Guagenti rolled over {7-}{6-}{5-} for a six-five.

"You have a seven-card straight? That's impressive," Craig Chait chimed in.
